Experiencing History - special Schoenbrunn
Available for groups of 10 and up
Are you expecting a group looking for a truly extraordinary experience? May we suggest you take them on a very unique journey back in time...
This is a very special journey back in time which will start with a cocktail reception at the Imperial Court at Schoenbrunn Palace. After being welcomed by the master of ceremonies himself, he will guide you through Schoenbrunn Palace's royal chambers and ceremonial rooms while telling you details about life at the palace. He will not only introduce you to the mysterious fan language used at the Viennese Court, but also to the secrets of gavotte, a typical dance of the Baroque era.
Now that you are familiar with the royal family's official and private everyday life, you will have an exquisite candlelight dinner, which would have delighted emperors and kings alike.
Dinner is followed by an exclusive evening concert at the Baroque Orangery at Schoenbrunn Palace, where the Habsburgs used to have sumptuous festivities. It was here that the famous musical competition between Mozart and Salieri took place in 1786.
The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra will then interpret the most beautiful works created by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss. This captivating music is accompanied by masterful vocalists and ballet dancers. Feel the magic…
After the concert, taxis will be available right outside Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery. The subway runs until midnight in five to eight-minute intervals.
Dinner at Café-Restaurant is a four-course experience in fine cuisine that kings and queens would have loved as well.
Vegetarian dishes will be served at your request!
